April 2008 Simuluncheon to celebrate the birthdays of Sir Henry Royce and Queen Elizabeth II.
In Atlanta, 18 members attended with 11 proper motorcars, a Range Rover (the Bentley T was being repainted) and a Rollswagen (just for fun). Season's 52 did a fantastic job with service and cuisine in an appropriate posh venue for the gathering.
In Charlotte it was more casual at Woods on South (on the property of the old South End Brewery). They did a great job "fueling" the crew. Fifteen members and guests arrived with a half dozen proper motorcars. All heads snapped around when the powerful whine of a Lamborghini Murcielago came into the lot - they snapped again when the driver referred to the bespoke beautes as "Rollers". It was all with a smile and everyone left in great spirits.
